Under the premise of China~s sovereignty and sovereign rights over the Nansha Islands and its surrounding waters, this book considers the common practice of the joint development of international marine oil and gas resources, and believes that the common development system has become the equilibrium point between national economic development and sovereignty. The monograph is based on national energy security and international political relations, from the perspectives of public law and private law theories such as general principles of public international laws, International Ocean Law, International Investment Law, International Environmental Law, International Tax Law, Contract Law and Company Law. It will closely carry out comprehensive data analysis on the legal basis, management mechanism, mode selection, fiscal and taxation system, marine environmental protection, preventing and combating piracy in the joint development of oil and gas resources of the Nansha Islands.
