November 17, 2022, the 23rd Shenzhen Book Month "Top Ten Books of the Year" was announced in Shenzhen, and Nanjing University Press & Yazhong Culture's Wisdom and Passion: A Biography of Susan Sontag was selected as one of the finalists.
The Shenzhen Book Month "Top Ten Books of the Year" is one of the most attention-grabbing and influential book selection activities nationwide, and has recommended a number of quality books to the public over the years.
This year's "Top Ten Books of the Year" focuses on humanities and social science books first published in mainland China from October 2021 to September 2022, and 30 finalists were carefully selected from the 1,260 titles recommended by publishers nationwide after preliminary evaluation and re-evaluation. In the afternoon of November 17, a final evaluation seminar was held in Shenzhen, where expert judges were invited to discuss the 30 shortlisted books and unveil the "Top Ten Books of the Year."
