December 20, 2021 Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Press and Publication announced the list of winners of the third Jiangsu Provincial Press and Publication Government Award. Shi Lei, editor-in-chief of Nanjing University Press, won the "Outstanding Figure in Press and Publication Award." Three books published by NJUP won the "Book Award," three won the "Printing and Reproduction Award," and the simplified Chinese edition of Crow won the "Decoration and Design Award." In addition, two publications were nominated for the "Audio, Video, Electronic and Internet Publication Award," while Tales of Chinese Monsters was nominated for the "Decoration Design Award."
The Jiangsu Provincial Press and Publication Government Award is the highest-level award in the press and publishing industry of Jiangsu Province. In recent years, Nanjing University Press has achieved huge social influence and high academic reputation in the industry, and ranked among top of Chinese university presses.
